“Imagination isn’t just play; it’s a powerful tool. When you vividly picture your dreams, you make them more likely to happen”.

Growing up, I was always lost in my own world. There weren’t all the devices kids have nowadays (thank goodness), and I wasn’t much into TV. So I relied on boredom and the power of imagination and can still remember hours lost in fantastical places, exploring distant lands, and slaying mythical beasts.

All from the back garden.

Honestly, Roald Dahl had nothing on me.

But seriously, it’s surreal to see how some of those same scenes have come to life.

And no. I haven’t lost the plot, Game of Thrones was filmed not too far from where I took this picture!

Walking along the higgeldy-piggeldy path, I got to thinking: imagination isn’t just play; it’s a powerful tool. When you vividly picture your dreams, you make them more likely to happen in real life.

Sure, terms like ‘manifestation’ or ‘visualisation’ might sound a bit new-ageish or even inauthentic given the rise of trending wellness speak.

And ‘imagination’ might seem too childlike, but think of it this way: if you can’t imagine it, how can you ever bring what your heart truly desires, to life?
